Khurda Reports 6 Fatalities Amid Marginal Dip In COVID Deaths In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: A day after reporting a record 42 COVID deaths, Odisha saw a marginal drop in fatalities with 39 patients succumbing to the virus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Health Department sources, Khurda district topped the list with six deaths followed by three each from Angul, Jharsuguda, Kalahandi, Rayagada and Sundargarh; two each from Boudh, Cuttack, Deogarh, Gajapati, Ganjam and Puri and one each from Balangir, Dhenkanal, Jagatsighpur, Kendrapada, Mayurbhanj and Sambalpur.

The deceased have been identified as:

1.A 62 years old male of Angul district.

2.A 47 years old female of Angul district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

3.A 75 years old female of Angul district.

4.A 70 years old male of Boudh district.

5.A 45 years old male of Boudh district.

6.A 59 years old male of Balangir district.

7.A 55 years old female of Bhubaneswar.

8.A 69 years old female of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & hypothyroidism.

9.A 60 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

10.A 58 years old male of Cuttack district.

11.A 52 years old male of Cuttack district.

12.A 35 years old female of Deogarh district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

13.A 70 years old female of Deogarh district.

14.A 72 years old male of Dhenkanal district.

15.A 48 years old male of Gajapati district.

16.A 40 years old male of Gajapati district.

17.A 54 years old female of Ganjam district.

18.A 51 years old male of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

19.A 33 years old female of Jagatsinghpur district.

20.A 45 years old male of Jharsuguda district.

21.A 58 years old male of Jharsuguda district.

22.A 45 years old male of Jharsuguda district.

23.A 56 years old male of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

24.A 55 years old female of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

25.A 48 years old male of Kalahandi district.

26.A 48 years old male of Kendrapada district.

27.A 43 years old female of Khurda district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension & Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.

28.A 75 years old male of Khurda district.

29.A 56 years old male of Khurda district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

30.A 45 years old female of Mayurbhanj district.

31.A 76 years old male of Puri district.

32.A 44 years old male of Puri district.

33.A 55 years old male of Rayagada district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

34.A 71 years old male of Rayagada district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

35.A 55 years old female of Rayagada district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

36.A 74 years old male of Sambalpur district.

37.A 36 years old male of Sundargarh district.

38.A 64 years old male of Sundargarh district.

39.A 55 years old male of Sundargarh district.

With this, the toll in the state has mounted to 2912.
