Bhubaneswar: A supply inspector of Khurda was caught red-handed while accepting Rs 20,000 bribe by officers of Vigilance Bhubaneswar Division on Thursday.
The accused has been identified as Marsallin Padhiari.
The trap was laid on basis of a complaint lodged by Ambika Prasad of Palla village. Padhiari had demanded the amount for recommendation and renewal of control licence, sources said.
Her house at Aiginia under Khandagiri police limits is being searched, the sources added.
