Cuttack: A youth, who had been missing since November 1, has finally been traced to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Odisha’s Cuttack district.
According to sources, the youth, identified as Satyajit Das, was brought to the hospital in an ambulance on Saturday. The hospital then shared a picture of the unknown person with injuries all over his body with police, who then asked Satyajit’s family to come to the hospital for identification.
His family members reached the hospital this morning and later shifted him to a private hospital in Bhubaneswar. He is currently in an unconscious state.
However, it is still not clear how Satyajit ended up at the hospital.
A Plus III student and resident of Gandhi Padia in Khurda, he had mysteriously disappeared after attending a birthday party at a café in the Bharatpur area with his friends. His family members tried to contact him over the phone when he did not return home, but got no response.

The CCTV footage from the café confirmed Satyajit’s presence there before he went missing, and he was last seen on Chandaka road. It is being suspected that he might have met with an accident. The exact turn of events leading to his disappearance will be known after he regains consciousness and gives his statement, police said.
