Balangir: Two days after her alleged kidnapping, a minor girl was rescued in a critical condition in Odisha’s Balangir district on Tuesday.
According to sources, she was found near a water body in Maidanmunda with her hands and legs tied. Locals spotted the girl and rushed her to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital here for immediate medical treatment.
The minor of Phiringimal village under Gaisilet police limits was allegedly kidnapped over past enmity.
Meanwhile, police have begun a probe to ascertain the reason behind the alleged kidnapping and to nab the culprits.
