‘Kitne Paise Chahiye?’: Sunny Deol Yells At Paparazzi During Dharmendra’s ‘Asthi Visarjan’

Mumbai: After Jahnvi Kapoor called out the insensitive nature of mass media in the aftermath of Sridevi and Dharmendra’s death, actor Sunny Deol recently confronted paparazzi for invading his family’s privacy during his father’s Asthi Visarjan ritual in the Ganga at Har Ki Pauri in Haridwar.

In a viral video, Sunny is seen storming towards a shutterbug, holding his camera and lashing out at him for secretly filming his family while they were immersing Dharmendra’s ashes.

In the video, shared on X (formerly Twitter), an angry Sunny is seen questioning the paparazzi, “Paise chahiye tereko, kitne paise chahiye?” (You want money? How much money do you want?).”

Defending Sunny’s emotional outburst, fans cautioned paparazzi to respect the privacy of celebrities and their families.

Earlier, Sunny had reprimanded paparazzi for crowding outside his residence and capturing private moments after Dharmendra was discharged from the hospital.

Calling their behaviour “shameless”, Sunny urged media personnel to have some decency.

Viral videos showed viral Sunny storming out of his house and marching towards the paparazzi with folded hands, urging them to “have some shame.”

“Aap logon ko sharam aani chahiye… Aapke ghar mein maa-baap hain, bacche hain… Ch*****n ki tarah video liye jaa rahe ho.. Sharam nahi aati (You guys should be ashamed of yourself. You also have parents, have kids… yet you are making videos like idiots… You should be ashamed of yourself).”

Dharmendra passed away on November 24 at the age of 89 at his residence in Mumbai, 12 days after being discharged from Breach Candy Hospital.

The legend is survived by his first wife, Prakash Kaur, and his second wife, Hema Malini, along with his children– Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Ajeeta Deol, Vijeta Deol, Esha Deol, and Ahana Deol.
