Bengaluru: Odisha swimmer Pratyasa Ray, representing Utkal University, claimed a silver medal in 100m backstroke event at the Khelo India University Games in Bengaluru on Monday.
Pratyasa, a trainee at the Odisha JSW Swimming HPC, clocked 1:09:72.
Odisha earned a second medal on Day 2 when weightlifter Rajendra Muduli, representing KIIT University, bagged bronze in men’s 61 kg category with a total lift of 239 kg.
Rajendra also trains at Odisha Weightlifting HPC in the Kalinga Stadium complex.
