Panchkula: The Odisha boys and girls teams on Sunday moved a step closer to clinching gold medal in kho-kho at the Khelo India Youth Games (KIYG) 2022 being held in Haryana.
The Odisha girls saw off the challenge of Punjab by an innings and a point in the semifinal to qualify for tomorrow’s final.
Odisha’s boys team, too, maintained their winning run, quelling the challenge of West Bengal 16-13 in the semis in the evening. Earlier in the day, Odisha boys sealed a last-four berth by edging out Delhi 14-13 in a thriller to top their pool.
