KKR Rides On Narine To Beat RCB By 4 Wickets

Kolkata: Riding on Sunil Narine’s 19-ball 50, Kolkata Knight Riders defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by four wickets in their first IPL match late on Sunday.

Off-spinner Nitish Rana showed class and took 2-11as he helped KKR to 127/4 in 14.3 overs. RCB’s Mandeep Singh later hit 37 in 18 balls to help RCB muster a total score of 176/7. Narine scored fifty in 17 balls and was sent back to the dugout by Umesh Yadav.
