Nishikant Kamat, August 17, 2020: The 50-year old had directed movies such as ‘Drishyam’, ‘Force’ and ‘Madaari.’ He was suffering from liver cirrhosis and was being treated at a Hyderabad hospital.
SP Balasubrahmanyam, September 25, 2020: The playback singer battled COVID-19 for over a month before he succumbed in a Chennai hospital. SPB was admitted to MGM Healthcare on August 5 after testing positive for COVID-19. On September 8, he tested negative but was again admitted to MGM Healthcare after his condition deteriorated post-coronavirus treatment.

Wajid Khan, June 1, 2020: Singer-composer Wajid Khan of music director duo Sajid-Wajid had a kidney infection, then had COVID-19 and ultimately died of a cardiac arrest. The due was popular for their work on superstar Salman Khan’s films such as ‘Wanted’, ‘Dabangg’ and ‘Ek Tha Tiger.’
