Bhubaneswar: The Odisha state capital reported 11 more COVID-19 cases, taking the affected tally to 196 on Monday.
According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation, all the 11 positive cases are in home quarantine.
Among the 11 cases, six patients are males of 33 years, 40 years, 55 years, 30 years, 21 years, and 22 years, working in the Mancheswar area who had a travel history of Uttar Pradesh. All are residents of Uttar Pradesh.
One case, that of a 27-years-old male, a native of West Bengal, working in Mancheswar area had a travel history of West Bengal.
Another person, a 33-years-old male and a native of West Bengal has tested positive. He is a construction worker at Vani Vihar and has a travel history to West Bengal.
The other three persons who tested positive are 60 years, 28 years, and 38 years-old respectively. All are railway staffers with a travel history of Delhi.
On the other hand, as many as seven positive cases recovered on Sunday, taking to the total tally of recovery cases to 93.
With three deaths and 93 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 99 active cases.
