Bhubaneswar: ‘Oo Antawa’ song of the item number in superhit ‘Pushpa The Rise: Part One’ has become a chartbuster. The sensuous moves of actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu of “The Family Man 2” fame were lapped up by the audience. But do you know how much Samantha charged for the number?

The serious actress of the tele series was initially reluctant for enacting the item number. It was only after ‘Pushpa’ director Sukumar convinced her and gave the example of Pooja Hegde’s dance number in ‘Rangasthalam’ that Samantha said yes to the project.

The actress has admitted that doing the item number was a tough affair. According to a portal, when she was asked about her experience, she said, “It’s really challenging to get the steps perfect, the beat, and dance with Allu Arjun. It’s really tiring.”

She had to work hard to get the steps right and click the exact oomph expression when the camera panned on her. But, all those strains and pains have yielded a handsome gain and earned her a strong footing in celluloid world.

Since the release of ‘Pushpa’ last year, Samantha’s performance has drawn a lot of attention and fans drooled to see her in a never-before-seen avatar.

Now, the astronomical amount charged by Samantha for the item number has come to light. India.com quoted a source saying that she has charged Rs 5 crore for doing the 3-minute the Oo Antava dance number!
