Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has spent Rs 10,40,19,27,605 on COVID management till the end of August 2021.
In a written reply to a query from Congress MLA from Jeypore Tara Prasad Bahinipati, Health and Family Welfare Minister Naba Kisore Das said that the Centre’s assistance to Odisha has been a meagre 3.74 per cent (Rs 38, 86, 00,000).
To another question by the MLA, the Minister said that the state had received Rs 77, 38,420 from the MLA LAD funds from Koraput district.
He refuted the MLA’s allegation of corruption in it and said that there was no need for an investigation.
