Mumbai: She married a foreigner and has settled abroad, but hasn’t forgotten her Indian roots. Yes, we are talking about our desi girl Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who observed Karwa Chauth in Los Angeles.

Sharing some pictures on Instagram, Priyanka wrote, “To all those celebrating… happy Karwa Chauth and yes I’m filmy.”

Hubby Nick Jonas is also seen following Indian rituals as he helps Priyanka end her fast.

On the other hand, Katrina Kaif, a British actress who tied the knot with an Indian star, has adopted Indian culture and celebrated Karwa Chauth with her hubby Vicky Kaushal and her in-laws.

Celebrity wife Mira Rajput took to social media to share her simple mehendi design which she sported for Karwa Chauth. Mira celebrated the special day with hubby Shahid Kapoor.

Actress Rakul Preet Singh and her filmmaker husband Jackky Bhagnani were seen complementing each other on Karwa Chauth by wearing red.

Newly-wed Kriti Kharbanda is observing her first Karwa Chauth with husband Pulkit Samrat.

Sharing some memories with fans, Kriti wrote on her handle, “Celebrating the 1st of every festival in the first year of marriage has been a tradition in every family for as long as I can remember. Karwa Chauth being one of them. Every Karwa Chauth, I would sit behind my mother, watch her perform the aarti, look at Chanda mama and then at papa from across the channi, dress up and apply mehendi. I’d also wake up for the sargi. I found it fascinating! All that while thinking to myself, I want this. For me. So today, I tick one more thing off my bucket list. The 10 year old me is shy and blushing! He’s good looking also, now that’s the cherry on top!”
