2 new Amrit Bharat Express trains



Bhubaneswar: Two new Amrit Bharat Express trains benefitting several districts in Odisha were announced recently.

On Monday, East Coast Railway (ECoR) announced the launch dates of the trains.

Charlapalli-Kamakhya-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express, which will run as a weekly service, will connect important regions of southern, eastern and northeastern India.

Train No. 15673 Charlapalli-Kamakhya Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Charlapalli, near Hyderabad in Telangana, every Wednesday with effect from March 18 at 7.40 pm, and will reach Kamakhya in Assam on Friday at 10 pm.

The return service, train No. 15674 Kamakhya-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express will leave Kamakhya every Sunday with effect from March 22 at 7 pm, and reach Charlapalli on Tuesday at 2.40 pm.

ains will pass through several stations under the jurisdiction of East Coast Railway including Duvvada, Pendurti, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhampur, Balugaon, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar Road and Bhadrak.

The second new train, Charlapalli-Shalimar-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express, will also be a weekly service connecting southern and eastern regions of the country, including Odisha.

Train No. 17065 Charlapalli-Shalimar Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Charlapalli every Tuesday with effect from April 7 at 6.55 amd, and will reach Shalimar, near Kolkata, on Wednesday at 11.20 am.

The return service, Train No. 17066 Shalimar-Charlapalli Amrit Bharat Express will start from Shalimar every Wednesday with effect from April 8 at 12.50 pm, and will reach Charlapalli on Thursday at 7 pm.

The trains will pass through several stations under ECoR’s jurisdiction including Duvvada, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Berhampur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar Road and Bhadrak.

Passengers have been advised to check the detailed schedule and timings through official railway enquiry channels before planning their journey.
