Be it overcoming the challenges of being from a tribal community of a remote village or hailing from an underprivileged background, the achievers have defeated adversities with their dedication.

Women steal the show

Women have topped the OCS Examination-2022. While Swetashree Mohapatra has topped the examination, Prinkil Parbin Parida has secured the second position. A resident of Bhadrak, it was Swetashree’s first attempt at the exams.

Prinkil, a Nimapara native, had completed her MSc in Botany with a gold medal from Ravenshaw University. She began preparation for OCS immediately after completing her MSc. She is a farmer’s daughter. She appeared for the examination in October last year. The fourth position was again bagged by a woman, Parjna Parangama, who said that the entire journey was a struggle.
