New Delhi: Revisiting the moment when she was crowned Miss World in 2000, Priyanka Chopra shared ‘the stupidest thing’ that her mom told her after the big win.

Sharing an old video on her Instagram handle, Priyanka wrote, “Picture this… I just turned 18 and won Miss World! When I finally reunited with my parents among all the chaos on stage, the first thing my mom said to me was ‘Babe, what’s going to happen with your studies?’ #IndianMom #20in2020.”

Priyanka was just 18 years old when she became the 5th Miss World from India.

Lara Dutta was crowned Miss Universe and Dia Mirza bagged the title of Miss Asia Pacific, the same year.

Speaking about the Miss India contest, Piggy Chops said that she had never expected to win the crown. She had her train tickets booked and was supposed to give her board exams after returning home.

“That was crazy. I never, ever expected to win. I wasn’t supposed to. I had a train booked and I was supposed to go back and give my board exams. And I had a crown on my head. It was crazy,” she said.

Priyanka is now happily married to Nick Jonas. The actress will be next seen in ‘The White Tiger.’
