Jagatsinghpur: A total of 17 new COVID-19 cases were reported in Jagatsinghpur on Tuesday, taking the district’s tally to 357.
According to the district administration, 17 of these cases have been detected in quarantine centres.
Eleven among them are from Jagatsinghpur block, three from Ersama, two from Jagatsinghpur municipality and one from Raghunathpur.
Seven are West Bengal returnees, three each from Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, two from West Bengal and one each from New Delhi and Maharashtra.
The infected have been to shifted COVID hospitals, the district administration informed.
At present, Jagatsinghpur district has 89 actives coronavirus cases with 268 patients having recovered from the infection.
