Bargarh: Vigilance officials estimated the assets of an accountant of civil supplies office here at around Rs 2 crore following raids on his properties.
The Vigilance sleuths conducted simultaneous raids on the office and houses of the accountant Kambhupani Mishra on Monday on charges of amassing properties disproportionate to his known sources of income.

Mishra was found in possession of two double-storey buildings, 41 plots of land, a two wheeler, deposits in different banks and post offices, gold ornaments, cash and household articles. The Vigilance officials estimated the total assets at Rs 1,91,63,176.
