Bargarh: Bargarh saw another person testing positive for coronavirus on Thursday, taking the affected tally in the district to two.
The second patient is a 40-year-old man of Barpali block and he had recently returned from Mumbai, Collector Jyoti Ranjan Pradhan informed.
He was in a quarantine centre.
Bargarh had reported its maiden case on May 23.
Four persons in quarantine centre had tested for the virus in another western Odisha district, Sonepur, late on Wednesday.
With these fresh cases, the total number of COVID-19 cases has gone up to 1598. While 812 people have recovered from infection, the virus has so far claimed seven lives in the state.
