Know The First Cut-Off Marks For Admission To Plus II Courses In Odisha Colleges

Bhubaneswar: The School and Mass Education Department on Friday released the first phase cut-off list for admission to Plus II streams in different institutions across Odisha.

SCIENCE

Ravenshaw Junior College in Cuttack saw the highest cut-off of 89 per cent, followed by 88.6 per cent at BJB College in Bhubaneswar and 86.67 per cent at Nilakantha Nagar Saraswati Sisu Mandir, Berhampur.

COMMERCE

Ravenshaw Junior College again recorded the highest cut-off mark of 75.83 per cent followed by Rourkela’s Government Junior College (75.5 per cent) and BJB Junior College (74 per cent) in Bhubaneswar.

ARTS

The cut-off mark for admission to Plus II Arts courses at Ravenshaw Junior College was the highest at 72.5 per cent, followed by 71.83 per cent at BJB College, Bhubaneswar, and 67.83 per cent at Rourkela’s Government Junior College.

The students, who have applied for admission into Science, Arts and Commerce streams, can check the list on the website of Student Academic Management System (SAMS) https://samsodisha.gov.in/Juniorweb.aspx.

The admission of the candidates selected in the first phase will be held between September 21 and 26. The spot selection cut-off list will be published on Oct 13. The department has received 3,80,896 applications this year for admission to these three streams.
