Newly-elected BJP MPs from Odisha at Parliament complex
New Delhi: The Balasore MP who won the internet for his austere ways and was touted as Odisha’s Modi is among those who are likely to be sworn in at 7pm on Thursday as Narendra Modi begins his second term as Prime Minister of India.
Dharmendra Pradhan, who did not contest this election, ostensibly to concentrate on campaigning in Odisha, is likely to be retained.
There has been speculation about three faces from Odisha, where the party won eight Lok Sabha seats, being inducted into the Union Ministry.
The names of former bureaucrat-turned-Bhubaneswar MP Aparajita Sarangi and Sundargarh MP Jual Oram have also been doing the rounds as probables.
Here’s a list of probable names expected to take oath along with the Prime Minister.
