Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday issued guidelines for Pana Sankranti celebrations in the Odisha capital on Wednesday.
GUIDELINES:
1. Any kind of congregations for the celebration of the festival in public is not allowed within the BMC area.
2. However, priest/sevayats can perform the rituals in temples without devotees.
3. The temple authorities have to ensure that the priests wear mask appropriately at all times.
4. Distribution of pana and other beverages is strictly prohibited in temples and other public places.
5. The temple authorities have to make provision of handwashing/hand sanitisation at the temple.
6. Persons having SARI/ILI Like symptoms will not be allowed inside the temple.
