Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police on Wednesday issued a traffic advisory to ensure smooth flow of traffic during Mahashivratri at Lingaraj Temple here on February 21.
The advisory is as followed:
— All four-wheelers, except VIP vehicles, will not be allowed to ply on Ratha Road from Mausi Maa Square. They will have to take Vivekananda Marg to proceed up to Kacharapindi via Sanitorium Square and park the vehicles by the side of Kedar Gauri Temple Road. The VIP vehicles will be allowed till the designated parking place in front of the Northern Gate of the Temple via Ratha Road, Tinimundia, Badheibanka and Ratha Khala.
— All vehicles coming from Ravi Talkies Square will be allowed up to Kacharapindi via Sanitorium Square. The four-wheelers are allowed up to Kotitirtha Lane with a provision for parking at the Northern side of Ananta Basudev Temple.
—All vehicles coming from Garage Chhak and Samantarapur side will be diverted to BMC Market Complex parking via Electric Substation Square to reach the designated parking areas. Three-wheelers can be parked at the space designated on the Eastern side of Ananta Basudev Temple.
— All vehicles coming from Keuta sahi side shall be diverted to BMC Market Complex parking via Kedar lane-Tarini Resort and Electric Substation Square, where parking areas have been earmarked.
