Bhubaneswar: Hours after NIA team picked up a student from Khandagiri in the Odisha capital, the Twin City Commissionerate Police on Wednesday clarified that the case was not linked to terrorism.
“The NIA is questioning a student in connection with an investigation. As per our information, this is not related to terrorism. The person is being questioned at Khandagiri police station,” Police Commissioner Sudhanshu Sarangi informed media.
According to preliminary information, the student was reportedly picked up by the NIA team this morning with help of Odisha Crime Branch (CB) and the Commissionerate Police.
He is reportedly being questioned since 7 in the morning.
