Mumbai: Aditya Narayan is all set to take the nuptial vows with longtime girlfriend Shweta Agarwal in December.
His father and singer Udit Narayan revealed in an interview with Dainik Bhaskar that he was initially shocked when son Aditya told him about his decision to marry Shweta.
“I have known Shweta for many years but only as a friend of my son. I just told Aditya that if something happens later, don’t blame the parents,” he was quoted as saying by the daily.
He said that his grand plans for his only son’s wedding have been dashed to the ground following the government’s directive on COVID-19 safety guidelines. “I hope that the situation would improve by December and I would be able to enjoy his wedding,” he added.
Aditya and Shweta had met on the sets of their film Shaapit a decade ago. He recently announced that they were engaged.
