Know Why NCB Visited Shah Rukh Khan’s Mansion ‘Mannat’

Mumbai: Hours after Shah Rukh Khan visited his son Aryan Khan at Arthur Road jail on Thursday morning, a Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raided his house ‘Mannat’ and also that of actress Ananya Panday (Chunky Panday’s daughter) simultaneously.

While some reports suggested the NCB visited Mannat for paperwork, others said it was to give him a notice saying any other electronic devices belonging to Aryan need to be submitted with the probe agency for investigation.

According to India Today, the NCB team did not meet Shah Rukh or his wife Gauri Khan. They handed over documents to his manager Pooja. She made some phone calls and signed the documents.

Meanwhile, Ananya Panday has been summoned by the NCB at 2 pm. The NCB team has also taken away the actress’s phone.

It may be recalled that NCB had accessed chats of an ‘upcoming actress’ with Aryan Khan, now revealed as Ananya Panday. The two were apparently discussing drugs during the Mumbai cruise party on October 2. The messages were submitted to the court ahead of Aryan Khan’s bail hearing, India Today reported.

Earlier in the day, Shah Rukh Khan had gone to Arthur Road prison and met his son Aryan for about 18 minutes. There was a glass partition between them and they spoke over the intercom.
Aryan Khan was arrested with seven others on October 3 after the NCB raided a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast and claimed to have seized drugs.

The Bombay High Court will hear the bail plea filed by Aryan Khan on October 26.
