Dhenkanal: BJP’s Jayanti Patra, the newly elected chairperson of Dhenkanal municipality, on Thursday alleged that shots were fired in front of her house on Wednesday night and that she also received death threats.
Jayanti, who took oath as the chairperson of Dhenkanal municipality on Wednesday, has lodged a police complaint, accusing BJD workers for the firing and the death threats against her on Wednesday night.
