Kolkata Police Arrest Man From Bhubaneswar For Rs 4 Crore Online Trading Fraud

Bhubaneswar: The Kolkata police have arrested a man from Khandagiri in Bhubaneswar in connection with an alleged Rs 4 crore online trading fraud.

The accused has been identified as Harihar Mohapatra (36). He was working part-time at a company in Baramunda area.

According to reports, Mohapatra was arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged at Pragati Maidan police station in Kolkata by a businessman from Malda, who was allegedly duped of about Rs 4 crore through a fraudulent share trading scheme.

Subsequent investigation revealed that a substantial portion of the swindled funds was transferred to Mohapatra’s bank account.
