Bhubaneswar: Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Thursday appointed Koraput MP Saptagiri Sankar Ulaka as the party’s national secretary attached to in-charge Chhattisgarh.
It may be mentioned that Sonia had formed a committee to analyse the debacle in the recently concluded elections in five states.
The committee in its report has mentioned infighting, alliances and flaws in the selection of candidates as the main reasons for the defeat of the party.
