Mumbai: Krushna Abhishek and Govinda had been estranged for years, with Krushna even skipping episodes of Kapil Sharma’s comedy show whenever Govinda appeared as a guest.
Now, bringing an end to their 14-year-long feud, Krushna has reunited with his ‘mami’ Sunita Ahuja.
On Wednesday, Sunita was spotted on the sets of ‘Laughter Chefs’, where she posed for the paparazzi alongside Krushna and his wife, Kashmera Shah.
In a video that surfaced online, the trio appeared in coordinated outfits, smiling for the cameras and sharing a warm hug, marking a heartwarming moment of reconciliation.
As Sunita reunited with Krushna, she said, “14 saal ka vanvaas khatam hua.”
To this, Krushna added, “This was a big surprise. We did not know that she will join the show today. Thanks to her for agreeing to do this. With this, we have ended all speculations or rumours which made headlines in the last 12 years.”
For the unversed, the rift reportedly began in 2016 after Krushna cracked a joke on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ that allegedly upset Govinda and his wife Sunita.
Following the incident, Krushna avoided appearing on Kapil Sharma’s show whenever Govinda and Sunita were invited as guests.
However, earlier this year, Sunita confirmed that all differences have now been resolved and that everything is fine between Govinda and Krushna.
“How long can I be angry with my kids?” Sunita was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla.
She added, “Why hold grudges when everyone is happy in their own space? I only want to give blessings to all the kids; they are like my own.”
Further, in a podcast with Paras Chhabra, Sunita shared, “Krushna grew up with me, along with Vinay, Dumpy, and my brother-in-law’s son. For me, they are all my children. I’ve forgotten everything from the past. Now I just want all the children to laugh, play, and be happy. I bless everyone.”
