KTM launched its biggest motorcycle in India, Duke 790, with a price tag of Rs 8.63 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
The KTM 790 Duke is internationally referred to as the ‘Scalpel’ because of its sharp aggressive design language. Like other KTMs, the bike is relatively light at just 189 kg. The power-to-weight ratio is an impressive 612 bhp per tonne.
It is powered by a 799 cc parallel-twin motor that makes 103 bhp and 86 Nm of peak torque. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
The KTM Duke 790 will be a completely knocked down unit and will be limited to just 100 units till BS6 norms kick in.
