Viral Sex Video-Kuakhai Murder: Post-Mortem Report Reveals Involvement of More People

Bhubaneswar: The post-mortem report of Unmay Padhi, whose half-charred body was recovered from Kuakhai riverbed on March 21, hinted at involvement of more people in the murder.

The report further stated that the miscreants hit the victim on the head and stabbed him in the stomach. They later set him on fire before fleeing the spot.

On Saturday, police had detained four persons, including a girl, for interrogation.

The girl, who was earlier seen in the sex video along with Unmay, and her male friend were picked up by the cops while attempting to flee to Kolkata. Later, two others were also detained in connection with the case.

The police have started investigation on the basis of the allegation made by Padhi’s family that he was murdered over the sex video that had gone viral last year. Unmay was arrested by Kharvel Nagar police in connection with the obscene video clip.
