Bhubaneswar: Despite the proposed indefinite rail blockade by Kudmi Adivasi Samaj being withdrawn as per the directions of Calcutta High Court, several agitations took place at various places in Jharkhand like Manoharpur near Chakradharpur, Gomoh and Muri.
Hence, train operations will be affected in Jharkhand, Odisha and West Bengal.
Following are the East Coast Railway (ECoR) trains which will be affected:
* 12801 Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express, scheduled to leave Puri on September 20, will remain cancelled.
* 18477 Puri-Rishikesh Kalinga Utkal Express from Puri on September 19 short terminated at Chakradharpur and will return as a Spl Train from Chakradharpur to Puri.
* 18477 Puri-Rishikesh Kalinga Utkal Express from Puri on September 20 will run via Angul-Sambalpur City-Jharsuguda Road.
* 22811 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express which left Bhubaneswar on Septmber 20 will run on diverted route via Adra-Asansol-Jasidih-Patna-Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction.
* 12281 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Duronto Express which left Bhubaneswar on Septmber 20 will follow a similar diverted route via Adra-Asansol-Jasidih-Patna-Pt Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction.
* 18005 Howrah-Jagadalpur Samaleswari Express from Howrah on September 20, will remain cancelled.
* 12872 Titilagarh-Howrah Ispat Express from Titilagarh on September 21, will remain cancelled.
* 18006 Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express from Jagadalpur on September 20 will run via Sambalpur – Angul – Bhadrak – Kharagpur.
Some other long-distance trains passing through stations under ECoR jurisdiction will also run on diverted route. Details will be shared with passengers on their mobile phone numbers, the release added.
