Kunduli Victim’s Suicide: BJP Yuva Morcha Activists Detained After Clash With Police

Bargarh: Several activists of BJP Yuva Morcha including the president Tankadhar Tripathy on Saturday were detained following a clash with the police in front of the office of the Superintendent of Police in Odisha’s Bargarh district on Saturday.

The clash ensued when police tried to vacate the Morcha activists.

“The BJD government has failed to deliver justice to the Kunduli gangrape victim. The state government should immediately hand over the case to CBI for a fair and impartial probe into the incident,”Tripathy said.

Similar demonstrations were also organised by the party in front of the Superintendents of Police (SPs) offices across the state.

The party has demanded resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on moral grounds for his abrupt silence on this matter till date.
