New Delhi: Kusha Kapila was brutally trolled when she announced her divorce from her husband Zorawar Singh Ahluwalia. Now, months after the incident, the ‘Masaba Masaba’ and ‘Thank You For Coming’ actress has revealed that she was ‘bullied’ into sharing the news with the world. Kusha revealed the same during the recent India Today Conclave in Mumbai when she said, “I actually allot a certain time of the day to crying and feeling bad about it. I give it exactly half an hour, and then I move on with my life. There’s so much to do.”
Kusha Kapila further mentioned that she is glad she shared the divorce news with everyone the way she wanted. “I was honestly bullied into sharing my personal news. This is the first time I’m sharing that. I was 100% bullied into sharing it. But I’m glad I shared it on my own terms. I did not want anyone else sharing information about my life with the world, without consulting with me first. You have to put on blinders,” the actress added.
Later, Kusha was rumoured to be dating Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor. However, the actress dismissed it saying, “Roz apne baare mein itni bakwas padh kar mujhe apna khud see ek format introduction karwana padega. Every time I read sh*it about myself I just hope and pray ki meri mummy na padh le yeh aab. unki social life has taken a big hit.”
Kusha’s latest movie Thank You For Coming is finally in theatres now. The film also stars Shehnaaz Gill, Bhumi Pednekar, Dolly Singh, Shibani Bedi and Karan Kundrra in key roles. Directed by Karan Boolani, Thank You For Coming is produced by Rhea Kapoor. So far, it is getting a decent response from the audience.
