KVS Admissions 2025-26: Online Applications For Class 1 & Balvatika From Tomorrow

New Delhi: Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has opened online applications for Class 1 and Balvatika admissions for the 2025-26 session. Parents or guardians can apply at kvsangathan.nic.in from 10 am of March 7 to 10 pm of March 21, 2025.

The first list of selected students for these classes will be released on April 17, 2025. Admission will depend on the availability of seats in each class.

However, registration for fresh admissions in Balvatika-2 & 3 (where online admissions are not available) and Classes II and above (except Class XI) will begin on April 2, 2025, at 10:00 AM and will continue until April 11, 2025, at 4:00 PM. If vacancies are available, the process will be conducted offline. Applicants must submit the completed forms to the Principal’s office in the respective Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV).

Details about admission and registration forms for Balvatika-2 & 3 and Classes II and above will be available on the Vidyalaya websites. Registration must be done according to the Admission Schedule for 2025-26.

Eligibility Criteria

• Class 1 Admission: Child must be 6 years old as of March 31, 2025.
• Balvatika 1 Admission: Age between 3 and 4 years.
• Balvatika 2 Admission: Age between 4 and 5 years.
• Balvatika 3 Admission: Age between 5 and 6 years.
How to Apply for KVS Admission 2025-26

Parents and guardians can follow these steps to apply online:

1. Visit the official KVS website: kvsangathan.nic.in
2. Click on the “Admission 2025-26” link.
3. Register by providing the necessary details.
4. After successful registration, log in using your email ID and password.
5. Fill out the application form with the child’s details, parental information, and preferred Kendriya Vidyalaya.
6. Upload the required documents, pay the applicable fee, and submit the form.
7. Take a printout of the submitted application for future reference.

Documents Required for Registration

• Child’s birth certificate
• Recent passport-sized photograph
• Address proof (Aadhaar card, voter ID, or utility bill)
• Transfer certificate (if applicable)
• Caste certificate (if required)

The age for all classes will be calculated as of March 31, 2025. Seat reservations will follow the KVS Admission Guidelines 2025-26.

“Admissions will be denied if any false or misleading information is found in the application during verification. Parents or guardians should contact the Principal or admissions in charge only when requested and within the given time slot,” the statement reads.

Parents should regularly check the KVS official website for updates on merit lists and further admission instructions.
