Balasore: A labourer was killed after a stone-laden tractor overturned
near Siding Sahi in Nilagiri of Balasore district on Tuesday morning.
The deceased was identified as Bapi Singh (26).
Following the mishap, a group of villagers, including Singh’s wife,
blocked the Mitrapur-Nilagiri road demanding adequate compensation to
the family of the deceased.
Locals of the area said that the vehicle lost control due to
overloading and fell on the labourer, who was working at the nearby
stone crushing site.
