Labourer’s death sparks tension at IOCL

Jagatsinghpur: A labourer was found dead on the premises of Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) at Paradip in Jagatsinghpur district on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Santosh Sahu (32) of Gandikapur village under Tirtol police limits in the district. According to reports, Sahu fell unconscious this morning while working with other labourers. He was rushed to a local hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Expressing their anguish over the incident, a group of labourers resorted to blockade demanding adequate compensation to the family of the deceased.
