Bhubaneswar: A lady sub-inspector (SI) here has tested positive for COVID-19, Khurda excise superintendent Prasanna Acharya informed. The district administration has sanitised the office premises.
Khurda excise superintendent Acharya said, “The SI had come to join duty & her swab sample was collected after she complained of illness.”
Moreover, 87 more positive cases were detected in Bhubaneswar taking the tally to 1130. On the other hand, 37 more patients have been cured of the infection.
With 11 deaths and 457 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 574 active cases.
