Khurda: The mutilated body of a lady teacher was recovered from an
agricultural field at Nirakarpur in Khurda district on Thursday.
The body was spotted at around 5:30 pm by some local residents, who
immediately informed the police.
The deceased identified as Anjali Dehuri of Badapokhari in the
district. She was working as a teacher at Haripur Primary School was
apparently attacked with a bamboo stick as the same was recovered near
the body. Deep injury marks have been found on the victim’s head.
The body has been seized for post-mortem to ascertain the
reason behind the teacher’s death, a police officer informed.
