New Delhi: Former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi, son Tejashwi Yadav and nine other people have been asked to appear before a court in connection with irregularities in operational contracts of two IRCTC hotels in 2006.
The hotels in question are located in Ranchi and Puri.
Lalu and party have been accused of accepting a three acre commercial plot worth Rs 45 crore in Ranchi as bribe.
The CBI had filed a chargesheet against 12 people and two companies. Former Managing Director of IRCTC, PK Goel, Sujata Hotels Directors Vinay and Vijay Kochhar, Sarala Gupta, wife of Prem Chand Gupta and an RJD MP have also been named in the chargesheet.
