Landmine blast kills CRPF jawan in Malkangiri

Malkangiri: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawan was killed in a
landmine blast at Chintagupha in Malkangiri district on Sunday.

The ja wan, identified as Venkata, sustained critical injuries during a combing operation carried out by security personnel of 150 battalion along the Malkangiri-Chhattisgarh
border.

The jawan was rescued and admitted to a hospital in Chhattisgarh,
where he succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment.
