Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has extended the last date for submitting applications for admission to Class XI in schools and colleges.
The School and Mass Education department, in a notification, has stated that the last date for submitting applications through Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal for admission to Class XI has been extended from June 20 to June 26.
As per the revised schedule of the admission process, the first merit list of the selected students will be notified on July 2 instead of earlier date of June 28.
The first phase of admission will continue from July 3 to 8, the notification stated.
Earlier, the department had announced that the last for submission of the applications for admission was June 20. The students who have cleared the Class X examinations can sign up for the registration process on SAMS. The registration process began on May 29.
The candidates can log in to samsodisha.gov.in to complete their registration process.
