Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital on Monday after she complained of difficulty in breathing.
Hospital authorities have said her condition is currently stable.
She was brought in around 2am on Monday and taken to the ICU. She has been diagnosed with viral infection in the chest and is expected to fully recover in 3-4 days, according to a report in India Today.
She has tweeted on Sunday about her niece Padmini Kolhapure’s comeback to the big screen with ‘Panipat’ starring Arjun Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Kriti Sanon.
Lata had celebrated her 90th birthday on September 28.
