Lawyer Shot Dead In His Chamber By Unknown Assailants

Ghaziabad: A lawyer was shot dead in his chamber here on Wednesday afternoon.

The lawyer, identified as Manoj Chaudhary, was having lunch when two unidentified men entered his chamber and shot at him from point-blank range.

Police said the daring murder took place around 2.15 pm. CCTV cameras installed in the lawyer’s chamber have captured the incident.

“Today, at around 2.15 pm, Singhni Gate police station received information that Monu Chaudhary alias Manoj Chaudhary was sitting in his chamber when two unknown assailants came and shot him dead,” DCP Ghaziabad City Nipun Aggarwal said, adding that the body has been sent for post=mortem.

An investigation has been launched and police are examining the footage to identify the murderers. A team of forensic experts was also called to the site.
