Learner’s Licence Test For Existing Applicants From Aug 11; Check The Guidelines Here

Bhubaneswar: Slot booking for Learner’s Licence (LL) test will start on August 9.

The State Transport Authority’s (STA) notification said that the existing applicants can book their slot for LL test between 7 am and 10 pm every day. The LL test will be conducted from August 11 with a slot duration of 15 minutes (10 minutes for the test).

The slots booked for the LL test were cancelled from March 18 amid a surge in COVID cases.

The STA Chairman-cum-Transport Commissioner reiterated that the fees already paid for the LL test will remain valid. The date for fresh applicants for LL will be notified later.

THE TEST:

>> A candidate has to answer at least 12 questions correctly out of 20 questions to pass the test.

>> Candidates may undergo the LL mock test at www.parivahan.gov.in

THE GUIDELINES

>> Candidates are not allowed inside the office prior to more than 45 minutes of the slot time.

>> The applicants must wear masks and follow the social distancing norms at the testing centre/office.

>> Applicants from the containment zone will not be allowed for any test. In case, any such applicant tries to enter the office, the matter will be reported to the local police.

>>Applicants have been advised against bringing their friends and relatives with them to the office.

-Applicants with COVID symptoms will not be allowed for the test.

-In case of an emergent situation due to the COVID pandemic leading to the shutdown of the office, the test may be cancelled at short notice.

-Applicants have been advised against visiting the RTO office for any enquiry regarding Learner’s Licence.
