Legendary Spinner Shane Warne Suffers Injury In Motorbike Accident

Melbourne: Former Australia spinner Shane Warne is injured in a motorbike accident. While riding a bike with son Jackson, Warne fell off and slid for more than 15 metres, the Sydney Morning Herald reported quoting News Corp.

“I’m a bit battered and bruised and very sore,” Warne was quoted as saying after the accident. Though he avoided any serious injury, he woke up the next morning in severe pain.

The 52-year-old former cricketer visited the hospital apprehending he might have broken his foot or damaged his hip.

However, the legendary spinner is still likely to do his broadcasting duties for the upcoming Ashes series, commencing on December 8 at the Gabba in Brisbane.
