Surat: Konark Suryas Odisha is gearing up for their next challenge in the Legends League Cricket (LLC) as they will be facing Manipal Tigers at Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat on September 27.
In their first match at Barkatullah Stadium in Jodhpur, they defeated Manipal Tigers by 2 runs. While KSO scored 104/9 runs in 20 overs, Manipal Tigers finished at 102/8 in 20 overs.
KSO had a rest of six days before their next encounter. The team from Odisha will surely be looking at consolidating its position in the league and should try to do better with the bat.
The team reached Surat on September 23 and started their practice at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium. Due to heavy rain, the practice was interrupted on September 25 but they had a good nets session on September 26.
