Nuapada: In a late-night raid on Saturday, Forest officials arrested three poachers from Tipajhara village in Nuapada district and seized the severed head of a leopard and its hide from their possession.
Apart from the tiger head and hide, the team of officials from Nuapada Forest Ramge also found wild boar meat and Pangolin scales during the raid.
Interrogation of the poachers is underway to ascertain their modus operandi and link with a racket, a senior forest official told the media.
