Baripada: Forest officials seized a leopard skin and arrested three persons in this connection in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Monday.
The Forest department, in a statement on the day, said its officials received reliable information about an ongoing deal to sell the leopard skin in Bangiriposi area of the district.
Following the inputs, the Forest officials of Similipal South Division and Baripada Division, headed by Deputy Director, Similipal South Division, carried out a raid on the place.
During the raid, the team of Forest officials seized the leopard skin and arrested three persons from the spot.
